And because we are talking about lost friends:
From time to time I am still thinking about a friend that I lost around 21 years ago. Gosh, so much time... He died in an avalanche. A strange, almost disgusting imagination about how he died and a nice remembering what we did together. He was my bench neighbour at primary school and we spent lots of time together. |
The loss of a loved one is probably the most drastic emotion that we will ever have to face. There are so many things that are going through your head at once when a loved one passes. You want to hate them because they left you. You are also happy that they went to a better place. You grieve because it feels like they took a part of you with them. Losing a loved one is hard and I'm sure that we've all felt it at one time in our lives. I'm only 18 and I've lost more than I care to list. It really is a good thing that we have a family like we do here to share our thoughts and feelings with. :)

"25 cents...CHEAP!" (or maybe cheaper when it started. I used to buy them for a quarter.) Mad put all their old issues out on CD ROM a few years ago. I wish I had the uncommitted cash at the time to get it. |
Vgavoy ... "25 cents cheap" was after Mad turned into a magazine-like format. Originally, Mad was truly a comic book published by "EC" (Entertaining Comics) and cost a dime. Some 15 to 18 issues were produced before the format was changed.
