This week I was so on the fence. I'm sorry to say this.. because I know he's popular... but Taylor is working on my nerves. The last couple shows he just hasn't lived up to his potententional for me. I honestly think he should have gone. Little Paris is a powerhouse singer. And full of personality. Sometimes she sounds kind of off to me... here and there. But on the whole I think she's better.

I'm glad to se Kellie gone too. She was annoying and working on my nerves too.

My prediction (now that Mandissa is gone) is It will come down to Chris and Catherine. I do like her.... She's beautiful..has a good voice.. entertaining.. BUT.. can someone tell me why she knelt through her preformance? It was distracting.

But... then again Taylor has a lot of fans. It's all about popularity now. Not so much talent.

I think the goal was to have her interact with the cool drums but well it didn't quite go like that.

I still think Chris will take it. Elliot was awesome - he even looked cute and his eyes sparkled! Catherine - I don't really care for her - too icy. Taylor - I agree, he has been off - needs to get back to his McDonald roots... lol

I would like to see Chris and Elliot as the final two! :D

The voting population got it WRONG tonight.... I was awestruck, as was the audience, I think.

I predicted this. It was the most horrible day today and I told a co-worker, "the only thing that could make this day worse is for _____ to get kicked off idol." BINGO.

I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!! UNREAL!!! They really got it all wrong this time. It wasn't my very favorite, but I honestly though this person would at the very least be one of the two finalists, if not the overall winner. How could this happen?? The one that should have left didn't...........and that person really did deserve to leave......not the one that did. I'm totally dumfounded!!

How about the way they told the person....."you were one of the people expected to win, but you're going home" was the person lookin' shocked or what???

I haven't watched any television for several weeks but I still stand by my first love of that dude. I just loved his smooth style & I think a lot of people like him because he represents "the anti-Britney/Jessica/Lindsay/Paris, etc. "

Also, my jaw dropped during his audition on the first show because of his smooth, old-school influences. I think he could really give a good jam night somewhere. The rest of them always seem so stylized. Sure, the guy's a bit jumpy or something but he is something the music industry hasn't had enough of lately, IMOSHO

Didn't Simon say something to that nature Lil? It was in the farewell video too.... of all the AI contestants you are the only one that refused to change? ... it was something like that. I just adore him and his story. I'm not always a fan of what he's singing, but recognize that he does sing it well even when I don't like it.

I have to agree with Steph though too ... I adore Taylor. He's got some strange movements, but also has a very unique style and has seemingly refused to bend from his personna.

Horrible. I can't beleive he's been voted off. In my opinion the others don't hold a candle. He was effortlessly tallented. Being on a stage seemed like second nature to him. I loved Kelly Clarkson. She was fantastic too. And I've not liked a single American Idol as much as her until Chris. I'm not saying that the others aren't tallented. They are. But Chris was the entire package. I truely hope he gets through the "American Idol" web and goes on to totally kick ass on his own or with a band.

My favorites were Kellie and Taylor. I was disappointed when Kellie left, but she had two bad weeks in a row. I saw it coming and she did deserve to leave. As much as I enjoy Taylor, I expected that Chris would beat him out. I honestly thought it would come down to the two of them. As much as Elliott has grown, he's nowhere near as good as Chris. Katherine really did poorly this week and she deserved to go home. Even she expected to be leaving. Did you see the shock on her face when Chris was told he was leaving? This is truly a stunning decision. And again, as much as I like Taylor, the show won't be nearly as much fun now that the real competition is gone.

I think of the remaining 3 that Elliott has the best voice. I also think he's not going to win. I'd go to a Taylor concert in a heartbeat because he's such fun to watch. Mainly for that reason, I think he'll win... even though several who have gone home have better voices.

I liked Taylor tonight. He sang Dancing in the Dark, You are so Beautiful, and Try a Little Tenderness. 3 superb choices.

Taylor has been my favorite from the beginning... altho I thought the final too should be Chris & Taylor, Chris leaving prematurely (in my opinion) only made it more likely that Taylor will win.

I would like to see Elliott go to the final two with Taylor because doing so will only solidfy Taylor as the winner. Katherine still has a chance.

Personally, I didn't like any of the songs that either Elliott or Katerine performed last nite.

Extremely close vote tonight. It could have been any one of them. I was still a bit surprised. Not upset, just surprised.

Katherine to me belongs on Broadway not on the Pop charts.

Hopefully that's where she'll end up. She's got a big, strong voice that's just made for Broadway. I still think the final should have come down to Taylor and Chris.

ahahahahahahahah..... someone kicked some serious ass tonight as far as I'm concerned. It was a good show and I'm anxious to see the results tomorrow night.

I think so too. Anxiously awaiting the finale but I have to say I'm not as excited as I would be if my Chris were still in it.

For a finale I was not impressed tonite.

I cannot believe the guy who gave me shivers at the auditions won! I thought he wouldn't have made the Top 10. I can't wait to see what he does in the future!

I thought he looked a bit too brown for me but it was a definite hit for the normally cynical Intraweb users I know.
