It will be interesting to see how these MOOCs, having increased in number, fare. The traditional University brands, built in some cases over many, many years, will be forced to recognize that information technology may make their existing business model obsolete.

There will always be Uni courses which require hands on with specialist equipment and such. MOOCs seem to be a great way to run literature courses etc. The outlands of Empire are falling.
