(((AZ))) - I'm using a few of the Pixie recipes too. :) I asked people to bring sides, but I want to make sure we have enough - so I am cooking...

Turkey, ham, shrimp cocktail, cheese appetizers, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn casserole, green bean casserole, salad, cranberry salad, pumpkin pie, eclairs

I think I'll start pre-making stuff on Monday :D

Add to that...lots of wine, beer, soda, water...should be quite the party!

We invite lots of Mr Osuche's grad student friends who can't make it home for the holidays.

Osuche- one of the best Thanksgivings I have ever had was the first one Mr. Lil and I had together once married. He was stationed at tech school in Biloxi, Miss. and although we could have made the drive home we wanted it to be just us. That was until a couple that lived in the temporary housing we lived in mentioned how sad they were that they could not go home. The next thing you know there was a huge group of young couples away from their families for the first time who all got together to share the day. We even shook cream into butter in a glass jar like little kids do. It was such a great memory.
