False, got a s/f convention to help run.

T or F: Your favorite sportsball team is playing a game on Thanksgiving.

dicksbro 11-26-2016 01:51 AM

False. But my second choice did ... and lost. :(

T or F: You're almost done with your Christmas shopping.

jseal 11-27-2016 06:08 AM

False

True or False: You're the only one awake in your house.

PantyFanatic 11-28-2016 02:18 AM

True. And when I'm not awake, I'm the only one asleep in my house. ;)

T or F? You enjoyed all the time with family and friends the past weekend.

dicksbro 11-28-2016 03:32 AM

True. It was main my wife and I and our oldest and youngest sons. Other members of the family had too many things going on this year although our daughter in Indianapolis hs suggested next year they may host a full family reunion and dinner. :D I was thinking maybe I should go over now so I can get a good place at the table.

T or F: It's just too cold to wash the car even though it needs it.

gekkogecko 11-29-2016 08:48 AM

False: the rain today is doing a pretty good job of it.

T or F: you're goofing off instead of something you should be doing.

dicksbro 11-30-2016 03:04 AM

False. Not too many "should be doings" at 2AM. :)

T or F: You've been fighting a cold.

gekkogecko 11-30-2016 12:27 PM

False, although I just got an IM from my ambigusweetie saying she things she is. So maybe it's just a matter of time.

T or F:
You've had a major emotional issue in your face recently.

dicksbro 12-01-2016 04:08 AM

False. At least not recently. :)

T or F: Your area of the country is one of those facing severe drought.

PantyFanatic 12-04-2016 01:58 AM

False. It was a bit of a dry summer but not extreme. Now we'll see what kind of a winter we get.

TorF? You're hoping for a winter as mild as last but are doubtful.

dicksbro 12-04-2016 02:35 AM

True. Actually, a winter made up of temps in the 70s and sunny skies and clear star-lit nights doesn't sound too bad. Oh well, why wish for a loaf of bread when you can wish for a grocery store. :D

T or F: You've recently bought tires for your car.

gekkogecko 12-04-2016 08:21 PM

False, I dont' even have my own car these days, and I certainly haven't bought tires for anyone else's.

T or F: You have plans to make it to one of these christmas light shows in your region.

dicksbro 12-05-2016 01:30 AM

Iffy right now. E. Peoria (about 10 miles from here) has an annual festival of lights. It's a town of about 20-25,000 people and their festival draws more than 100,000 from as far away as Chicago. Consists of floats made of lights (some very large floats), city and commercial buildings decorated and gleaming with lights, parks with decorated evergreen trees, and lots more. The parade of floats is really the highpoint. It stretches for (what seems like forever) and is a sight to behold. It's a wonderful show that when our kids were smaller we went every year. We've missed the past few years but keep thinking one of these days we're going to go again.

dicksbro 12-05-2016 01:31 AM

T or F: You family has some long standing traditions you'll be a part of again this year.

gekkogecko 12-05-2016 09:02 AM

True. My family has a fairly long standing tradition of ignoring each other at Christmas, and I'm happy to continue that.

T or F: You are forming a plan to get some Christmas nookie.

dicksbro 12-06-2016 03:42 AM

False on forming a plan, but, hope springs eternal regardless.

Hmmm ... maybe I'll have to consider forming a plan. Who knows.

T or F: It's going to continue to be cold for the next several days (through the weekend) anyway in your area.

gekkogecko 12-06-2016 11:31 AM

Hm, I'd think I'd have to call that one false. Although on the cool-ish side for the most part, the forecast highs around here are quite variable for the next several days. Typical for the DC area.

T or F: You still haven't gotten around to installing Pokemon Go on your smartphone.

dicksbro 12-07-2016 02:07 AM

True. I haven't installed Pokémon anywhere.

T or F: You'll be hanging a flag outside today in remembrance of Pearl Harbor.

gekkogecko 12-07-2016 11:19 AM

False, I'll be doing my remembrance in other ways.

T or F: You are considering a self-gift of a system uprade.

dicksbro 12-08-2016 01:42 AM

F ... not this year

T or F: You've had your first snow of the season.

cbass1976 12-18-2016 09:48 PM

dicksbro 12-19-2016 02:31 AM

F ... at least not yet ... :wish:

T or F: You spent a lot of Sunday watching football games?

jseal 12-31-2016 06:51 AM

gekkogecko 01-01-2017 04:48 PM

True or False: Your NFL team made it to post season play.

dicksbro 01-03-2017 03:24 AM

False. Ravens, Vikings and Colts just didn't do it this year ... although I'm not real unhappy with The Packers and Broncos still in the running.

T or F: You usually get in at least one "pool" for who will win the Super Bowl?

PantyFanatic 01-04-2017 04:25 AM

False. My only wagering requires two small cubes.

gekkogecko 01-20-2017 09:13 AM

False. Any hope I have is against hope.

T or F:
You are now re-considering the backyard fallout shelter idea.

True

True or False: You are worried about Climate Change.

dicksbro 03-19-2017 01:38 AM

True ... but more for our kids and grandkids than for me. Although the apparent increase in stormy weather of one kind or another is a bit concerning. Also, though, concerned about a lot of other things ... like peace and jobs and the sharp political divisions within our country ... which (to me) seem more immediate and more dangerous (for now).

Your flowers are coming up or already in bloom.

jseal 03-19-2017 05:46 AM

True ... and I'm sure they were surprised at this week's cold spell
