True (but I'm still ready for spring :D)

You tend to live a fairly conservative lifestyle.

PantyFanatic 03-20-2017 10:25 AM

FALSE if we consider 'conservative' as spending on anything beyond a survival level.

TRUE, ….if we define 'conservative' as needing to closely watch the budget in order to maintain a reasonable societal life style without creating debt and still have many things you would spend on if funds were suddenly there.

T or F? You've found at least half of your unrealized Bucket List changes every ten years.

dicksbro 03-21-2017 03:11 AM

So far so good ... I just started the list last year and my first item was an Egg McMuffin from Mickey D's ... check that one off the list. :D

True or False: You have a "garden shed."

gekkogecko 03-26-2017 10:38 AM

hn, could be either. It'[s more of a general shed, though, so I guess false?

T or F: Dirty laundry has piled up in your house.

dicksbro 03-27-2017 01:56 AM

It had, but it just got washed yesterday so ... as of yesterday ... FALSE.

T or F: You expect to take a flight somewhere this year.

gekkogecko 03-27-2017 07:56 AM

True, at least I'm hoping to.

T or F: You've started spring yard work already.

dicksbro 03-28-2017 01:51 AM

True ... but just barely. Lots to do when the rains stop assuming the temps stay mild.

T or F: Lilith should moderate the politicians ... just to be sure they all play nice. She could "ban" them if they didn't. :D

jseal 04-08-2017 11:48 AM

True! I'd pay money to watch THAT!

True of False: The Syrian Civil War has reached an impressive low in savagery.

T or F: You think our nation's colleges are delivering education worthy of their cost?

jseal 04-16-2017 05:33 AM

True of False: The Easter celebration is a big deal at your house.

True. It is in a spiritual sense. Church attendance is very important; visiting with family and friends also a biggy. Good Friday we visited folks at two senior citizen facilities and attended an afternoon service at our church. Generally we find Easter Sunday to be a very uplifting day and a day with profound spiritual meaning for us.

T or F: You love southern fried chicken.

gekkogecko 04-18-2017 05:40 AM

Mostly true. Some recipes include an ingredient that I'm allergic to.

T or F: you have teh coming weekend free from family responsibilities.

dicksbro 04-18-2017 12:48 PM

T or F: Your area has had the right amount of rain so far this season.

dicksbro 04-20-2017 05:31 AM

You know, I haven't really heard. Seemed like we got quite a bit ... but, we've also had some drier days ... so my guess is we're probably pretty close to being about right. So, I guess I'll give this one True.

jseal 04-29-2017 06:02 AM

dicksbro 05-02-2017 03:05 AM

Getting true in a hurry. With all the rain we've had, the ol' grass is practically shooting up. I'll have to mow either today or more likely, tomorrow.

T or F: You've got an anniversary coming up soon.

dicksbro 05-05-2017 03:01 AM

True. May 14th (Mother's Day) is also our 57th "MEETING" anniversary. Then, June 22nd we'll celebrate our 54th "WEDDING" anniversary. I think we've pretty well decided this marriage is going to work. :D

T or F: You also have an anniversary coming up pretty soon.

gekkogecko 05-05-2017 08:29 AM

Well, let's see, I have Balticon coming up soon, and it's something like the 51st of those. Does that count?

T or F: You need to get some outdoor activity planned for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend.

T or F?
You don't need any more rain to make the grass grow quicker. :hair:

dicksbro 05-09-2017 12:18 AM

True. At least not for now. Even with several dryer days some of the fields still show large wet areas although it's better ... no more standing water that I noticed. :)
