False on going to the movies. There are a couple playing that normally we might try to see one ... but today is just too busy. We've got a church function this morning with a funeral later and an afternoon get-together with our daughter and her family to celebrate her daughter's little girl's second birthday. The little girl celebrating is our second of two great grand-children and you just can't miss that. Plus, there's a retreat going on and we're going to stop in and write some letters of support for those making the weekend. We do that whenever these weekends are held.

You like to go camping

Haven't been for a number of years but we used to go a lot. Tent camping and then with a pop-up trailer. We were close with two couples for over 50 years and camped a lot with them. So "yep", we do ... although we're getting a bit old and don't have the tent, camper, or, our final camping shelter ... a fiberglass camper on a 1-ton Chevy chassie. That was the berries.

At least this year it seems like it's true ... we've seen so many pictures on the news and weather channels of the fires burning so fiercely there in the western Oklahoma. Hope you get some rains soon that'll help put out these fires.

True: "settled" here means the weather is very much not so. After the end of the week with the temperatures in the low 90s F, yesterday's high temperature was 68F.

True. Gone this weekend and it looks like the lawn waited til' we left, then gave a quick two day growth spirt.
