Early August is when our kids are back under the whip as well...& if Nashville '08 does happen it had damned well better be earlier in the summer...a Hot August Night in Music City would be enough to wilt any cold-weather Pixie types, no joking...

Good point...just a guess on my part, but the "Thunder from Down Under" should be right at home in the heat.
I just wanted everybody to be warned, while PAGAN '06 was going down up north, I was suffering thru what turned out to be the most brutal bout of heat & humidity my fair city had seen all year...people would stay inside with the air conditioning unless forced outside with the threat of economic death...

If events need to move up July that should be ok too.

Not sure about the '08 get together or when the OF twosome will be here. Anytime is good. Maybe a June date would work out better for a southern get together. :shrug:

I'll start checking on hotel costs, and get together plans assuming the eight are the ones who'll be here. Anyone one else thinking about it, at least let me know so that once I get some prices and we decide on a place, maybe a block of rooms can be reserved so we'll be reasonably close to each other. :)

We plan to be in the States 2008 - July 28 - August 3 for EAA's Oshkosh airshow.

Mrs Oldfart was wondering if before Airventure would be better.

I think so since I've heard of no suggest for another date. September was mentioned but my wife would be back at school then and that'd make it harder for us (although not impossible since we'd be close to home :) )

Sure hope others can make it. Will keep my fingers crossed (except when typing). :)

Oldfart that maybe the answer for some of our Pixie folks who are in the education feild. Anytime is fine for us. Hoping to see you again in '08.
