I am looking forward to a trip to Munich, Bavaria and Switzerland with my mother and my daughter in late September and early October next year. It is a gift from my mom. We will actually be there for the Oktoberfest.

It was just a nice party. When I introduced Mr. Lil to the professor I had had issues with regarding her requiring a voter's registration and library card in order to get an A on a test, I introduced him as a saint. Without a moment's hesitation she quipped, "obviously." hahahahahhahahahaha. OMG I almost spit mine out of my nose. I sat with my fave professor all night and swapped war/teaching stories. As we left, we strolled through downtown with the man who was the president of my college for 31 years, now a state member of the house. Loverly night.

The early October trip hub and I are taking to Durango, Colorado, to ride the narrow gauge railroad. It'll be 3 days of no dogs and no jobs/chores/etc. :)
