((((((Sharni and mom))))))) ~~ I'm hoping for a positive end to the chemo treatments and her to spend some happy days at home where she belongs.

Update: It's not going well

Mum is still in hospital :(

She picked up a 'superbug' and had to be treated for that. She then picked up some other hospital bug :(

Her immune system is SOOOOO low she just keeps getting infection after infection, she is not a well woman. They have put off her having the last Chemo treatment for now, as they are worried that bombarding her, 1 while she is so down & 2 dropping her immunity even lower, will do more harm than good.

*sigh*...I still have that 'bad' feeling about all this

Bilbo and I are looking at driving all the clan down to Victoria 2 weeks after Easter, Bilbo wants to see his Mum, and naturally i want to see my Mum & Dad. The kids want to see both.

So this is where its at.

Not been easy. Doesn't sound like it's going to be easy for a while.

Our thoughts are with you all. :console:

I'm so sorry Sharni. I hope things are getting a little bit better each day. You and your family are definitely in my thoughts.

Is it a long trip to visit them? I know I'm excited about seeing my mom at Spring Break. It's about 7 hours away and I don't get there enough.

I hope you get to make the trip and I hope she is feeling scads better by then.

Not quite that far PF *LOL*...Mum is in Victoria not South Australia

Down the bottom left of Victoria you can see Warrnambool on the map. Mum lives near there, its 1,800 klm around about....or 18hrs straight through.

Red Line

You'll not get to see the Rock nor get to stop in and tell Johnny what a great job he's doing going that way. And there's no way you can get there on the wrong side of the road, anyway. Ya best just follow the Wally Map.

Sharni 03-01-2008 10:08 PM

1. Don't wanna see a big rock in the middle of nowhere anyway!

2. Johnny doesnt live there anymore!

3. We drive on the correct side of the road!
