dicksbro 03-02-2020 02:10 AM

True. Probably most often I listen to Music Choice on cable TV. They have both a classical and light classical option as well as some 48 other options for all kinds of music.

T or F: You're feeling a tad hungry right now.

gekkogecko 03-02-2020 05:17 AM

False, I just finished eating.

T or F:
On the advice of your doctor, you take a boatload of vitamins and/or meds in the morning.

Goofy 03-03-2020 01:09 AM

Nope, jus' a vitamin each day and not on doc's orders anywho.

T or F: You hav yerself a hobby.

gekkogecko 03-03-2020 05:04 AM

True, in fact, more than one, though they overlap in a lot of ways.

T or F:
You try to recycle more than the average household in your neighborhood.

dicksbro 03-04-2020 02:43 AM

True. But with two adult sons living at home we generate a bit more than most of our neighbors.

T or F: You believe in miracles.

gekkogecko 03-04-2020 05:12 AM

False. I believe that shit happens.

T or F:
You've never tried to entrap anyone with the slippery banana peel trick.

rabbit 03-04-2020 11:22 AM

True

T/F: You're curious about gay sex.

Goofy 03-05-2020 02:40 AM

False. I's thinked 'bout it once in a while, but not sumptin' I'd ever do.

T/F: Yuz glad to see spring gettin' closer and temps startin' to go up.

dicksbro 03-05-2020 04:29 AM

TRUE! You got that right, goofy!

T/F: Your already thinking of the yard work you've got to do.

gekkogecko 03-05-2020 05:03 AM

True, at least in some sense.

T or F:
you regularly eat a healthy breakfast.

dicksbro 03-06-2020 12:42 AM

True … although some days are better than other. :(

:)

T or F: You've got a lot of tree and bush limbs to clean up in the yard.

gekkogecko 03-06-2020 11:09 AM

False, they were trimmed last fall.

T or F:
you've recently received a snail mail letter or post card that wasn't SPAM.

dicksbro 03-07-2020 01:33 AM

True. A nice card from some good friends of ours. :)

T or F: You'll be going on Daylight Savings Time this tomorrow (Sunday) morning.

gekkogecko 03-07-2020 09:30 AM

Unfortunately, true. I hate that shit.

T or F:
People panicking over COVID-19 are causing you trouble, personally.

dicksbro 03-08-2020 02:50 AM

False. Haven't seen what I would call "panic" yet. Most people seem to be accepting that the odds are presently low and that "Flu" is a bigger threat (although no panic over that, either). Could change, I suppose, but I don't see much chance right now.

T or F: Things are going pretty well for you right now.

gekkogecko 03-08-2020 09:52 AM

Mostly true. Got most of the problems with recalcitrant machinery worked out.

T or F:
Someone withing hearing distance is audibly upset right now.

dicksbro 03-10-2020 12:54 AM

False. I think everyone's asleep but me and I'm not upset about anything right now. :)

gekkogecko 04-29-2020 05:57 AM

T or F:

You regularly suffer from other peoples' TMSS (too much stupid stuff).

dicksbro 04-30-2020 02:47 AM

Yeah … at least to a degree. Especially spam in emails that generally is pretty dumb. (Ads)

T or F: You've had a lot of rain recently. (We have had 3+ inches in the last few days)

gekkogecko 04-30-2020 06:16 AM

True, and continued true for today-see my weather report.

T or F:
you have a bunch of scrap paper that you haven't yet recycled.

dicksbro 05-01-2020 12:35 AM

True. :( Gotta get busy and clean that out.

T or F: With COVID-19, we should have lots of time but somehow it's all getting filled in.

Goofy 05-01-2020 10:55 PM

Dats true, db. Does seems like even wid da stay home stuff, ders not enough time to gets stuff done.

T or F: Stuff ain't goin too bad even wid did COVID stuff goin' on.

gekkogecko 05-02-2020 09:22 AM

True for me, the only down parts are I have to work from home (office is actually a better work environment, oddly enough), and worse, I got my hours cut in half.

On the up side, I do still have ajob, and I dont' have to deal with the four-hours a day commute, and I can get needed things by deliverysince I live in the 'burbs.

T or F: You've had enough rain in your area lately that you're under a flood warning.

dicksbro 05-03-2020 01:18 AM

The area has been and they've issued a flood warning for our town but so far we're okay.

gekkogecko 05-08-2020 09:04 AM

True or False: The weather in your area has been significantly cooler than it should be for your location/time of year.

dicksbro 05-09-2020 01:21 AM

Been a bit eratic, that's for sure. Nice temperature-wise yesterday but windy that kept it feeling a bit cool. This early morning it the upper 30s but with a high in the mid-50s. Then, by next weekend, they're predicting us to be back in the 70s. Haven't really seen a graph on how we're doing compared to historical trends, but either about even or a little below wouldn't surprise me. So I guess the best answer is … I dunno.

T or F: You remember the day you met your spouse if you're married.

gekkogecko 05-09-2020 10:19 AM

True, although said spouse remembers the second time we met as the first...odd that.

T or F:
You own a small collection of specifically-themed beverage mugs.

dicksbro 05-10-2020 02:43 AM

True. Over the past few years I've been collecting coffee mugs from our local "Pumpkin Festival" held in the fall.

T or F: You've got special plans for Mother's Day.

gekkogecko 05-10-2020 11:37 AM

True, but they don't involve anything having to do with motherhood. Other than making my wife breakfast this morning.

T or f:
The weather in your locality has been unseasonal: either way hotter or way colder than usual.

dicksbro 05-13-2020 01:27 AM

True or at least it seems that way. The temperatures up and down swings; the rain (probably not unseasonable) and the winds (my wife has commented that the last several years seem to have stronger winds that we remember from our youth. I kind of think so too.

T or F: You sill once in a while fly kites?

gekkogecko 05-13-2020 06:09 AM

False, that sort of activity does a nasty number on my back.

T or F:
Looking out y our window, you can see several different kinds of trees, but you can't tell which one is which.

dicksbro 05-14-2020 03:02 AM

False. It's pretty dark right now. When it gets light, then I could.

T or F: You area is seeing a moderation in the number of COVID-19 cases recently.

gekkogecko 05-14-2020 06:40 AM

Both true and false. The actual number of cases doesn't seem to be moderating, but the number of hospitalizations and deaths certainly has.

T or F:
Ug. Too long of an interruption tht I forgot the T/F dilemma I was going to post.
Um, maybe I'll ocme back to thsi later.

dicksbro 05-17-2020 02:40 AM

False, I hadn't forgot because I hadn't thought about it until now.

T or F: You and your spouse or SO have made good use of the time you've had together since COVID-19 has kept us home more.

gekkogecko 05-17-2020 10:08 AM

True, but I am seriously missing time with my partners, other than my nesting partner.

T or F:
You are still relying on delivery mostly to get your necessities.

dicksbro 05-18-2020 02:48 AM

False - we have used some deliveries, but we've also gone shopping during "senior hours" especially since facemasks are required for most of the stores that are open. And, our town hasn't yet had any COVID-19 cases confirmed. Knock on wood.

Goofy 05-18-2020 10:52 PM

Didn't give me no T or F thingy fer me to answer so I use da same as yuz db. Wez gone shoppin' sum with doz masks n' all. Asked one of dem checkout people how day cud tell who da bank robbin' folks were since everybody got demselvs masks. She laughed and says dat up above her pay level.

T or F: Yuz put on gloves n' mask if you shop?

dicksbro 05-18-2020 11:06 PM

Sometimes true, Goofy. Always put on the mask but not always the gloves. I do wash my hands a bunch during the day, though. Probably one symptom of COVID-19 should be dishpan hands.

Anywhow, you still on, Goofy?

T or F: You love being outdoors.

gekkogecko 05-19-2020 06:14 AM

True for the most part. Often couldn't apply it, even before the pandemic.

T or F:
When driving through "fallen rock zones" you don't worry about the past tense...

dicksbro 05-20-2020 01:35 AM

True. I don't usually worry about it … although a couple of times I can remember, there were rocks that had "recently fallen" and were still by the side of the road. Probably sped up a bit to get past them. :)
