Sure, to some without question; to others in emergencies only.

Do you prefer to start your holiday shopping before or after Thanksgiving?

Sharni 11-23-2003 10:52 PM

Neither....we dont do Thanksgiving

If you had a million dollars to spend...What would you buy?

rockintime 11-23-2003 11:04 PM

lol...that's right no Pilgrims, no Indians, and I imagine to native turkeys.

First purchase, a new home.

Are you a risk-taker?

BlondeCurlGirl 11-23-2003 11:28 PM

There are certain areas of my life where I will gladly take a risk, then others where I hesitate to do so.

What was your favorite subject in school, and why? (and you can't say recess, PE, or lunch either!)

PantyFanatic 11-24-2003 03:57 AM

Would you believe Science? From the 3rd grade on.:o
(I bet you can sure as hell tell it wasn't English or Spelling.) LMAO

How important are trees to you personally?

dicksbro 11-24-2003 06:11 AM

We have a couple of trees in our yard that were planted by our kids; another that was taken from an offshoot to one my wife's folks had in their yard. Gives those three a lot of personal value. Plus, except for the fall raking, I just love 'em.

How's your Christmas shopping doing?

WildIrish 11-24-2003 12:30 PM

I'm doing ok...I received two presents already. As for purchasing for others? Well, um...err, soon. Hopefully.

When shopping for others, are you practical or extravagant?

celticangel 11-24-2003 12:32 PM

just dandy!!!!!!!!~~~just got to wrap it all up now!!!!

Do you have a traditional Christmas or do you cellebrate in a different way?

Sharni 11-24-2003 01:27 PM

Not traditional as a rule....we tend to have a BBQ with family & friends....but this year its just Bilbo..me...& the ferals...so will be a quiet one..

Will you celebrate with family and friends or alone this year?

Steph 11-24-2003 02:36 PM

It's all up in the air this year. Tyler might be here or at his parent's. We might be able to go to his parent's together . . . not sure yet.

What's your favourite Christmas tradition?

WildIrish 11-24-2003 02:42 PM

Getting socks and underwear, though the day we all spend decorating the house and listening to Christmas music is nice too.

Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve?

dicksbro 11-24-2003 02:57 PM

Used to be we opened some on Christmas eve at my wife's folks house, and my folks house on Christmas day. Now, it's usually Christmas morning.

We will be going to my daughters on Thanksgiving and since the roads are sometimes "iffy" in December, we'll give them their gifts there. That'll be for our daughter's in Indianapolis and Cincinnati, respectively.

Are you looking forward to Christmas this year?

musicman 11-24-2003 10:25 PM

somewhat - I love the family aspect of it but hate the corresponding commercialism that leads up to it

does anyone celebrate anything other than christmas?

Sharni 11-24-2003 10:42 PM

Birthdays, Anniversaries, House warmings, Births, Engagements, Weddings, Easter, and many more...any excuse for a party really *LOL*...we Aussies are good at that

Do you have other siblings...if so how many?

musicman 11-24-2003 10:50 PM
