3. I think my point was made this week, without having to use *all* the bricks I have in my possession.

We're going up near Chicago this morning to help celebrate our grandson's first birthday

1. Apparently, in New England, the number of replacement hamsters available is directly (and invertly) proportional to the amount of emotion experienced by small, devastated children.

2. Also, apparently in New England, you can only replace a dead hamster with a like hamster AND a new fish tank with $3234230948203958 of fish supplies. Or maybe that's just my household.

3. I'm holding out until my lunch date on Monday--but just barely.

1. I just got a really cool job.

2. I'm going for a second chance with the guy.

3. I felt guilty at laughing at my joke about Ralph/Houdini -- "he couldn't escape death" :)

3. This is finals week, and I am traveling to Chicago......so I won't be around much. :(

2. I'm tired and a bit sore from a physical and emotional weekend.

3. I am ever so thankful to have all this family here at Pixies.

I thought about ^^^ and Mrs.^^^ this weekend.

1. It's not that I'm not looking forward to fish--it's just that, no matter which child claims ownership, the hamster and fish are all really MINE, since I'm the only one who will be taking care of them. And that's exactly what I need--more responsibility. :)

2. I had the most awesome lunch date with a sexy man--the same one who may have learned exactly which button to push to get me to take care of myself.

3. I have a little bit of quiet time, and I'm loving it.

2. I got a new kid to watch and now have to be up at 4:30am :eek:

3. My newest addiction is Indian Spice tea with a big dollop of frozen French Vanilla Cool Whip in it. :drool:

So to clarify, it's not that you're not looking forward to having fish...it's that you aren't thrilled with having to take care of fish. You'd be the one feeding fish, cleaning up after fish and yes...bathing fish. Right?

1. I got some very good news about the testing I've been going through as I try to get a job with a neighboring school district.

I took today off of work to study, and the only thing I've done for the past hour is work. :(

I need to get back in shape....body, mind, and soul. Life has been far too frantic recently.

1. I'm home today. I either have bad allergies, a cold, an infection...or pink eye. I'm not sure which it is yet, but I'm sure the doctor will tell me in a bit. Regardless, yeah, my eyes are looking attractive today--including their accompanying luggage. :D

2. I'm craving contact with someone who is having a busy day at work today. Fortunately, I"ll see him tomorrow.

3. I think it's been about 24 hours since the last raindrop fell...but there's also more forcast, too. :(

1. I sent my sweet baby to the hole. Broke my black little heart.

1. I spoke to a very nice woman on the phone for about 15 minutes this afternoon. I have a resulting meeting Monday afternoon, which has me both excited and a little nervous.

2. I'm giving serious consideration to, when/if I catch the hamster, turning her in and finding one that a) lets you pick it up; b) doesn't scream (think your worst horror-flick nightmare); and c) has learned that you don't bite the hand that feeds you.

3. I'm sometimes just totally amazed at what has happened in the last six months of my life.

1. Crystal, the anti-Christ of hamsters, was taken back to said pet store and has been replaced with a poof ball, teddy bear hamster named Lucy. Things can only get better in hamsterland.

2. I made a road trip today I'd been putting off for 2-1/2 months, but it went just fine.

3. I am feeling very...positive this evening.

1. I received the most gorgeous pair of amethyst earrings this afternoon, "just because."

2. I got a good job offer today and, as guilty as I feel about leaving my current position after only 2-1/2 months and because they've been wonderful to me, the new opportunity is a much better "fit," and I think will work better for our future plans.

3. I have felt emotions in the last few days that I never expected to encounter.

1. I am enjoying rediscovery of this wonderful place.

2. I was very tired at work today (but for a good reason)

3. I found a picture waiting for me in my email when I got home :)

1. I did give notice to my current employers and accepted a position with my future employers. Things went fairly well, and I am relieved that part of the change is complete.

2. Apparently when you don't drink fuzzy navels for awhile, when you decide to make some killer ones, oh, before dinner's done cooking, they tend to sneak up on you. :D

3. I made the man I love laugh today. That makes me happy.

1. I had a nice, long conversation practically before the crack of dawn with my best friend in Iowa as she tooled along the interstate.

2. I wrote an extremely erotic email to someone working south of me today...an email which, apparently, was greatly appreciated. ;)

3. I am enjoying the fact I don't have my weekly rehearsal tonight.

1. Looking for 4 objects that mean alot to me... that make me smile... a request from my best friend... xmas gift related I suspect.

2. That request led me to a pile of love letters I received beginning May 1986.

3. Regretting choices I made as a silly naive girl... wishing the woman I am today were given those choices again.

1. I tried laying off on the erotic email writing today and was successful. :D

2. I think all of us are sick now, not just the kiddos.

1. My garage is freshly cleaned and housing my car like it should be (if only the garage could be a bit bigger though).

1. I had *the* best time at our chorus coaching this morning, and I learned more in three hours about singing and presentation than maybe I have up until this point.

2. I'm praying that a little girl is able to stay well enough to do trick-or-treating on Monday night.

3. I heard a rumor that we got flurries today, but I didn't personally see any.

1. After an emotional dream this morning, and a weird day building, tonight was really nice.
