Never tried that with peaches. I've used apple pie filling and that turned out pretty well though.

Not sure what I'm going to do for dinner. Probably something with eggs, chicken breasts or a frozen pizza. :p

FlirtWithMe 01-25-2009 06:03 AM

Good with apricots, too, IowaMan - dried ones work well with frozen raspberries, and to cut the expense throw in some apples too :thumb:

I shall most likely make something along the lines of spag bol this evening

PantyFanatic 02-10-2009 12:05 AM

A sharp knife, 6" summer sausage, half pound brick of a sharp cheddar cheese, a sleeve of Ritz crackers, green grapes and a glass of a cheap-ass burgundy table wine. :wine:

(... and a chocolate pudding cup.) :bite:

FlirtWithMe 02-10-2009 12:11 AM

I'll bring a large picnic blanket, a couple of glasses and a self-addressed invitation :D

:car:

PantyFanatic 02-10-2009 12:50 AM

I'll meet you in the glen. You'll be the lady in the skirt, right?

:car:

FlirtWithMe 02-10-2009 01:06 AM

Sure will, skirts always work best for picnics, I find ;)

It'll help keep the tyres inflated unless you'r planning the old "FlirtwithMe, sorry but it seems the pushbike's run out of petrol and we could be stuck here for hours. Wanna play 'Hide the sausage?'".

Lilith 04-26-2009 04:50 PM

Grilled blackened shrimp, purple hull peas, white rice, and spinach salad with oranges and dried cranberries.

jseal 04-26-2009 05:45 PM

Ham, noodles, and green beans.

dicksbro 04-26-2009 07:18 PM

We just had some chicken and cole slaw. Not really hungry when we got home from a wedding near Chicago but thought we ought to have something to eat.

Oldfart 04-26-2009 07:31 PM

WeetBix and Apple puree.

No, that was breakfast.

Neige 07-07-2009 09:02 AM

I need to make chili to get rid of some ground beef in the fridge, but that might be supper later this week because tonight I am going to make cashew chicken with rice.

Lilith 07-07-2009 09:27 AM

Tonight I'm making pasta with turkey sausage and sundried tomatoes, fresh bread and a humongous salad. I'm looking forward to a ho'made meal after having eaten out so much while visiting.

Pita 07-07-2009 04:12 PM

I've been dieting all week and have done so well that I'm thinking Ben & Jerry's might make a good dinner. :D

jbh3 07-07-2009 07:37 PM

Hotdave4u 07-14-2009 06:03 AM

Neige 09-25-2009 09:21 PM

I made Chinese food tonight, all from scratch! I made egg rolls with a pear dipping sauce, rice, sweet and sour chicken and beef & broccoli!

scotzoidman 09-25-2009 10:32 PM

I made an egg roll once...leveling the kitchen counter fixed the problem.

Tonite was beef barbecue from Whitt's on a hot dog bun...we've only had the pulled pork before, #1 son got the beef not knowing the difference. It was pretty good, as long as you weren't expecting to taste the pig

GusAspar 10-01-2009 05:49 AM

I made welsh rarebit for supper last night, and I always make much more topping than I need for one meal, so it's going to be toasted cheese variations for the next couple of days!

Neige 10-01-2009 06:38 PM

It's so freaking hot and I don't know what to eat!!!

Help me, what are you making/cooking/ordering?

As far as I can see, langusten is german for langoustine, which is a kind of prawn.

I'm having sardines for lunch, on toast made from homemade wholeweat bread. Might grill a tomato with it, too.

Bon apetit!

Pita 10-02-2009 07:18 PM
