I'm a dog lover myself but I don't necessarily think one is better than the other to have as a pet. I prefer dogs because they seem to be more responsive. If you call a dog you've got a pretty good chance that it will come to you. When you call a cat it is a 50/50 proposition at best whether they will come to you or not. Depends on whether or not they are in the mood to deal with you.

Love 'em both. Sort of depends on the situation really for me. I'm not married so if it's from someone I haven't seen in a long time or have just met, the hello kiss is best. Then again, if I'm getting a kiss goodnight it must have been a pretty good evening. Six of one, a half dozen of the other I guess. :D
