Lord Snow 08-07-2010 10:40 PM

If it wasn't for fast food and leftovers, some men would starve. I can cook, but I'm to lazy......so I'd starve.

Neige 08-08-2010 05:19 AM

Hmm... I guess I had a couple crackers with goat cheese for supper. I intended that to be just a snack, but I got busy and kind of didn't take the time to eat.

Lord Snow 08-31-2010 11:54 AM

Leftover nights only work in this house when there are leftovers. It's nowhere near dinner time here, but it's close to lunch.

Oldfart 08-31-2010 05:35 PM

What I call potnoodles are cheap, short-cooking noodles with a sachet of stock and some dried vegetables. It takes about 2 minutes to cook. It has virtually no nutritional value, but is probably better for you than potato crisps and caramel malted thickshakes.

Neige 08-31-2010 07:15 PM

I made jerk chicken with a mango-strawberry salsa, with zucchini from my garden, served with potatoes. It was really, really good.

Lilith 08-31-2010 07:31 PM

Mr. Lil made chili

Lord Snow 08-31-2010 08:08 PM

Taco Bell here. Think outside the bun!

Neige 09-03-2010 07:42 AM

Wilderness's parents are coming for supper. I think I will make a broccoli cheddar soup to begin with, followed by breadcrumbed garlic shrimp with mushrooms in a cognac sauce over quinoa, with an insalata Caprese-inspired salad on the side. Bien arrosé de vin, bien sūr! :wine:

You have no idea how you'll be stalked by Mrs OF in a few weeks.

dicksbro 09-04-2010 03:40 AM

Gotta admit, Neige, sounds delicious! Probably too late, though, to charter a bus and have 50 or 60 Pixies show up at your door for dinner. Rats. :D

Lord Snow 09-04-2010 09:40 AM

DB, it seems like she cooks stuff like that quite often, so I think we just need to stage a queue and show up.

Pita 09-04-2010 09:15 PM

Lilith 09-07-2010 09:39 PM
