There used to be until they took that big fat deep fried chimichanga off the menu, those bastards at Sweeny's!

Is there a special place to go to escape from the hum drum on occasion?

IowaMan 11-25-2007 11:26 PM

I'd like to say Wrigley Field in Chicago to catch a Cubs game but I haven't been there for a few years so I'll just say any sort of live sporting event always seems to kick start things for me.

Do you make up a yearly "newsletter" type of Christmas card to send out to family and friends?

dicksbro 11-26-2007 04:17 AM

No, I've always admired people that could summarize their year so well ... but me ... just traditional cards with short notes. That's about my limit.

Do you send out many cards on holidays?

IowaMan 12-01-2007 01:35 AM

I always intend to but sometimes I don't get as many out as I'd like. :yikes:

Do you usually stay at home to celebrate Christmas or go visit relatives/friends?

Pita 12-01-2007 09:41 PM

We will stay home.

Have you started your Christmas shopping?

IowaMan 12-01-2007 09:44 PM

Nope, right now I'm in the, "Boy, I really should get a list put together," phase. :(

Would you rather open gifts on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

Pita 12-01-2007 09:46 PM

Christmas morning

Do you buy presents for your pet?

IowaMan 12-01-2007 09:51 PM

Shhhhhh............ he's right over on the chair. But yeah, I'll buy Lou a couple of things and I think Santa may show up too. Lou's been a pretty good kitty. :p

Do you usually have turkey for Christmas dinner?

Pita 12-01-2007 09:54 PM

Usually have turkey, but this year I'm thinking of going Mexican and making my famous enchiladas, fried rice and margaritas. :)

Are you a traditionalist or do you like to step out of the box and try new things?

IowaMan 12-01-2007 09:57 PM

I guess I'm probably more of a traditionalist. I'm not against trying new things though. I actually have started a tradition of having lasagna for Christmas dinner.

What was your favorite Christmas gift when you were a kid?

Fangtasia 12-18-2007 03:00 AM

Snuffalupagus toy *L*

What was yours?

dicksbro 12-18-2007 05:05 AM

Toy soldiers

Fangtasia 12-18-2007 11:51 PM

Question? DB ;)

dicksbro 12-19-2007 03:56 AM

Sorry about that! What do you want for yourself most this Christmas?

IowaMan 12-28-2007 07:51 AM

I honestly didn't have anything in particular that I was hoping to receive.

Do you plan on going out to celebrate New Year's Eve?
