I am so sorry to hear about your mother Sharni. A coworker of mine was put on medication to help stop the growth of a large tumor on her kidney. She just recently went through surgery to remove it. One of the techs that I work with mentioned an herb that might help. There seems to be a ton of herbs that help with many different aspects/side effects of cancer but I think this was the one I heard about
http://www.drmyattswellnessclub.com/turmeric.htm Tons of healing thoughts for you mom and comforting ones for you (((Sharni))) |
Thank you all, i really appreciate your hugz at present!
I've spoken with Dad and the Doc has told them to count in months not years :( The cancer is spreading, so its definately not if but when. I am myself heading to the Doc this afternoon, i have had chest pain most of the day, while i believe its stress, i figured its better to get it checked than not. |
Do check it out and tell the saw-bones what is going on for you. These times stress elastic :console:

Very sorry to hear the news Orli
My Dad passed away a few years ago He was in the hospital I would visit him on my way home from work most days bring him dinner (special leftovers from work, which he loved) 'What did the executives have for lunch Today', he would always want to know He was supposed to be there for a while only we never expected, when I got a sudden call, come now... Our immediate family spent the night with him My sister managed to catch a boat and make the 400 mile drive it was difficult he wasn't able to communicate with us, and it was hard for us to come up with words for him but I know for him the important thing was to have everyone there together (though I know he hated to be seen there like that, and wanted to give us words before departing, but he had already taught us all, and shared, so much over the years) The most important thing for him was always bringing the family together sometimes I think it was easier that it was fast and unexpected Sometimes I wish for some time to talk to him Words aren't always easy in hard times Not sure what to say Take care Talk to her Enjoy the time you have Live what you can Don't be afraid she will always be with you, if you always keep her alive in memory I miss my dad dearly But I have many wonderful memories And at times I can feel he is still around, helping and guiding people and things in my life I am blessed Life is a wondrous thing Live it, Love it, enjoy and appreciate it Strength to you and your family (((((Sharni))))) sorry I got a little long winded there... :console: |

Mum went into hospital this morning, and the Doc quietly informed Dad, that she will not be going home again. The Doc believes about 2 weeks left, maybe a bit longer, but it is progressing VERY fast and VERY aggressively. I will be offline for a bit, as i'm hoping to fly down next week and spend some time with Mum prior and then with Dad after. Luv ya all, and catchya when i can OF |
Go, and go safely. :console:

Thank you all *hugz*
I am flying down this Tuesday, arriving late night in Melbourne, then will get picked up from there by Dad or my Brother and drive back home (prolly Wed) Mum has deteriorated further so Dad tells me. I pray i manage to get there before Mum 'goes', as Tuesday is the earliest flight i could catch. I will not be back til around the 24th or so, depending on whats happening. I'm very doubtful i will get online before then. I'll try to get Bilbo to drop an update when he can. Luv ya OF |
((Godspeed))
