yvw ... also there are city and county taxes added in which will account for differences ... sometimes just down the street ... because that station may be in an unincorporated areas ... so no city taxes .... sometimes that can make a difference of several cents

just curious, scotz...is this a limited access highway or toll road?
|
I-24, near Manchester TN, home of the Bonnaroo Festival, sort of a annual redneck rocker Woodstock...
|
ah...i though maybe it was toll road. around here they aren't allowed to raise or lower their prices more than once a week on the pa and nj turnpikes
|
I think it had to do with the holiday weekend

Toll roads are practically unheard of in TN...

There is a refinery less than 50 miles from here yet we continue to have some of the highest gas prices in the nation - I saw it was going for around 3.28 today! I saw recently where they raised the price of a barrel of oil because of SPECULATION of the demand this summer!!! Bastards! |

Funny, our gas went up 8 cents Thursday, the day before the long weekend. There is no price fixing, but everyone know that the price goes up before every long weekend in the summer. We are paying $1.11/litre.

unleaded 95 octane $1.38 per litre |
I was amazed earlier this week when I saw it go down from 3.11 to 2.95 in a 24 hour period. I haven't paid attention since then to see if it's gone down further.

It will be interesting to see if the price goes up and down again between the 12-SEP-06 primary and the 04-NOV-06 general elections. After the election, it should go up again. |
