My son is 4th generation Westside Cleveland Irish and grandson 5th generation Cleveland Irish. (Eastsiders now :o ) Closest I've been to the sod is a peek from a ship as I sailed past.

Actually a mix of Swedish and English ... although my wife is half-Irish and I've latched on to that around St. Paddy's Day and later in the year when Peoria has it's Erin Fest.

I'm a Scot actually, with Irish descendants on my mum's side of the family, and a dad that really wishes he was Irish. Used to always joke around with an Irish accent on when I was younger. Was especially bad when he came back from Ireland after work trips there :rolleyes2
