Well i feel like i'd be rude if i didn't introduce myself.

I'm a 23 year lass from England, enjoying life. I've been to pixies a few times over the last 6 months, but i got the courage to start posting on here yesterday. You all seem like a nice bunch of ppl, and i hope to meet some new friends on here. :)

I was looking thru here;the other day;and realised that;most of
the names;are new to me!I have been doing alot of things ;
outside lately;and haven't been keeping up with pixies;except to
check latest threads.I live in New England;own myown place;and
due to;the seasons;there isn't much time to get things done out-
side.NO EXCUSE.Welcome EVERYONE.The only time;you will hear
a derogotory comment;about another member here;it is meant in
jest. Irish
P.S.When;the weather;won't let me work outside;you will hear
me;so much;that you'll wish;that I would SHUT UP!

Hi guys... fairly new to Pixies and just thought I should introduce myself.....

I am 48 divorced.....kids grown and gone and a grandmother to a wonderful (biased opinion here lol) 6 year old boy.
I live in Hamilton ON. Canada

I love to write silly poems of the nonsensical nature! My career is running a treatment home for teen girls with a strong emphasis on behaviour modification and independant living.

LOL soon it will be me needing some form of treatment!!!

I can best be described as one who has learned from the past....lives in the present....and relishes what the future may hold.

I can also suck a jello shooter through a straw......drives the men crazy! lol

That’s more impressive than being able to suck a golf ball threw a garden hose!

Sorry that I haven't been on here sooner.My youngest daughter;
the one with the autistic son;since her divorce;has been dating;
exclusively;a man who was married before.He has 3 kids.She
called me;first thing;this morning.She wanted to alert me;before
I heard it;on the news;that his oldest son;was killed in a car crash
;last night.If it wasn't for BAD luck;she wouldn't have ANY luck;at
all!

Irish, you've certainly got our sympathy. Tell your daughter she and the man who lost his son will be remembered in our prayers.

Irish, contrary to popular belief there ARE nice areas around Detroit. As far as defining "nicer"...how about

one of Detroit's "nicer" suburbs: A suburb where a SMALL, 2 BR house on a very SMALL piece of property can go for over $100,000.00.

The entire metropolitan Detroit area is NOT a crime-ridden slum as much as the rest of the country would like to believe it to be true.
