The f'ing woodpecker is back. We have a resident woodpecker that does his thing on the neighbors metal chimney for the fireplace. It sounds like a jackhammer. I swear to someone I'd like to invest in a BB gun and show the bird that he's not welcome on our rooftop.

Have I mentioned that I'm not a fan of birds at all - all the chirping and squaking early in the morning disturbing my slumber? This woodpecker is just over the top though. So much for my late morning nap.

AOL........ for the 2nd day in a row. :banghead: :hair:

PantyFanatic 03-27-2007 08:03 PM

The timer 'tingged' out on my catch up of six pages of new posts before I was half finished. :hair:

People who go around imposing their wills on you. Fuck off, already.

dicksbro 03-27-2007 08:08 PM

The day simply has gone by too fast with too much to do and not enough time to do it all. :(

Fussy's alarm clock waking me (and possibly jr too) but then him not getting ready for work straight away - if he doesn't need to be up at 6.15, why the hell wake up the whole house then?! Grrrrrrrr.

Misery loves company?

sodaklostsoul 03-31-2007 06:40 AM

The cat waking me up before the alarm again. Dang furball dose'nt understand that I need all that sleep so I can deal with people all day. I need all that sleep so I can answer the same questions 458732957151375685746 times during my shift even tho the person asking the question just heard me explain it to the person next to them. Why ask the question again, the answer has'nt changed and it won't magically change for you when you ask it again. I never want to work a store closing again, I have a feeling the closing bonus won't be nearly enough for all the crap we had to put up with.

cavegirl 03-31-2007 08:11 AM

my next door neighbour waking me up really early this morning when he decided to dig up his garden with one of those mechanical digging machines - then starting to drill out his garden wall with a pneumatic drill. IT'S SATURDAY MORNING YOU HALF-WIT!! GO BACK TO BED AND HAVE A LIE IN LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IS TRYING TO DO...

*stops shouting, takes a deep breath*

lol

Lilith 03-31-2007 08:58 AM

Mine is using a nail gun^^^^

IowaMan 03-31-2007 12:59 PM

Wasn't overjoyed to be awakened by a storm early in the morning but I got over it. What did piss me off was when I dropped a thing of 18 eggs as I was loading my groceries into the trunk of the car.

No over easy for this guy today I guess. Story of my life. :p

themi01 03-31-2007 01:17 PM

Cleaning out my Churches garage hauling 2 concert speakers that are "blown " just to have someone haul them back because they might be good.....but good or bad they are taking up room and they aren't very good quality so why keep them ? why not envoke the two year rule ?

rabbit 04-01-2007 06:40 PM

My son's poor behavior in church today. Needless to say, he is in the doghouse.

Booger 04-02-2007 07:00 AM

After being laid off for work for 3 month going back today. To have the first thing I hear is oh didn't blank call you. Then being told that they didn't need me and not to hold my breath on being called back. Then having to sit through a sob story about how tough it is for them. How they had been nice enough to keep my insurance going for the past three months (which I did use so it realy didn't do me any good). How much of an expence that was to them but wouldn't be able to do any more.

Now I've wasted half the time of my unemployment waiting for a job that I most likely won't be going back to. When I could have been out there looking for a new one.

PantyFanatic 04-02-2007 07:44 AM

Hey Booger,
Man that sucks. I know how rough it is out there so hang in there and bust your butt looking for something else.

1nutworld 04-03-2007 05:01 PM

A 2 inch by 1 inch wide burn just below my elbow, courtesy of the oven at work today. HOLY Crap that thing hurts like hell!

Doesn't sound like a big burn but it feels like my arm is burnt from my elbow down to the mid-point of my forearm.

ReaperWoman 04-04-2007 05:02 PM

He went swimming. But what pisses me off more, is the fact that I'm pissed off by this.

Troubles getting one of my prescriptions filled. Of course it's the one that I have to take at least 3 times a day so it only makes sense that they decide to make me jump thru hoops before paying for it. Not sure what happened, it's been covered for as long as I can recall.

osuche 04-04-2007 09:10 PM

The evil boss...yanking the rug out form under me

IowaMan 04-05-2007 08:29 PM

Still pissed at the troubles I'm having getting this prescription covered. I've got maybe two days worth of it here and I'm hoping I don't end up going any time without it. :wish:

sodaklostsoul 04-09-2007 07:16 AM

A 10 yr. old with an attitude. Little girl better start thinking before she speaks.

My child did'nt miss the bus but several others did, must be the temp. driver again, they were 5 minutes early. Course my child was mad at me and left early so she made the bus, if she had'nt of gotten mad at me then she may have missed the bus too.

IowaMan 04-09-2007 03:05 PM

Just got off the phone with my pharmacist and there's still no progress in getting my prescription covered.

osuche 04-09-2007 03:41 PM

Hearing that something I've worked very hard on is being cancelled.

ReaperWoman 04-09-2007 04:06 PM

There are three employees:

A. Full-time. Has the most work to do today. Hasn't had taken Annual Leave in 2 months, so hasn't had more than 2 days off lately.

B. Full-time. Has average amount of work to do today. First day back after a month of Annual Leave.

C. Relief. Works 2-3 days a week, has been on extra the last week and is on 4 days this week. Also has average amount of work today.

An opportunity comes up for one of them to accompany some other staff and residents on a trip out that will be very relaxing and fun. The employee who goes on the trip will have their workload divided between the two remaining employees.

Who gets to go on the trip? Answers on the back of a postcard, please...

Clue: I didn't get to go...

Let me guess....You are employee A.

That sucks!

ReaperWoman 04-09-2007 04:37 PM

Wrong! Employee A should have been picked, but she had too much work to split between the others... Try again! :p

IowaMan 04-09-2007 04:40 PM

Must've been B. Do I win?

ReaperWoman 04-09-2007 05:02 PM

Well done! Here's your prize... :kissass:

Yup, B, just back from her holidays to Dubai, gets to go walkabout whilst we bear her load of work. As already mentioned, A had too much to do, and C didn;t get to go because she's relief... :rolleyes2

1nutworld 04-09-2007 05:05 PM

IowaMan, you lucky bugger!

Well if this had been blind date and you though I was A, then you would've just picked a 54 year old dear... She's hilarious though - everyone keeps wanting to buy her dildos for some reason... No, really.

Is she a RICH 54 year old dear??

Seriously though, I just was trying to get YOU out of work by guessing A.

As per usual, I was wrong!
