I was just wondering how many people here were married, single or devorced. So I just figured I post a poll to try to find out.

I am not sure how to vote on this... as my situation is a bit more complicated... I am guessing single...

I count myself as divorced already. The decision for it happened almost two years ago. Since then never had doubts about it.

I am divorced

I am twice divorced, with one ex deceased. Just count me as single and loving it.

Hmm.. voted "Single with S/O" ~ getting divorced, having separated 20 months ago; however, have a S/O for past 3 (nearly 4) months....

My parents did the same thing, sex_24-7! It's rare but it happens.....and at times can be a good thing! Glad to know yours is just that!

I'm married......2 years.....but living together 15 years!

I've always felt married that entire time though.....not in a bad way either! TeeHee!

I have to post this story to explain my status. ;) Well that and cuz I still think it was funny (although I would NOT do it again!)

When I was 20, I had a good friend named Andy. We got along very well cuz we had similar senses of humor and were playing jokes on other friends and just having fun.

Well he turned 20 in September and told everyone all he wanted for his birthday was lots of attention so the morning of his birthday he and I were sitting around discussing what we could do that would be funny & get lots of attention.

We finally decided we should get married! So we went and filled out the application for a marriage license (minnesota required a 2 wk waiting period) and bought silver engagement rings at KMart or WalMart (I paid for all this of course since it was his birthday present -- came to about $100)

So we told our professors & friends & spent the afternoon calling everyone we knew and telling them we were getting married in 2 weeks.

My parents & brothers drove from Utah & we got married and thought that was very funny indeed!
So we agreed to stay married for 2 yrs -- no more but with the option to date after the divorce if we felt so inclined.
But I had moved by then and we lost touch after the divorce.

So I am divorced but I don't really consider that I've really been married

Married and love it! Met on a blind date and after three years of dating, married. Now, we'll hit our 40th anniversary this year!! ( I married very young; so young, in fact, I thought they were saying "bye-bye car-car." Do you know, it's heck to go on your honeymoon in a stroller, but, on the other hand, cribs can be fun. All those places you can get tied to. :D )

I have been very careful and hesitant about starting anything new in the relationship department......................anyone know how long I'm gonna feel like this? (I ain't getting any younger)

I'm waiting for the mandatory time for the divorce to be filed. I'm currently living with my new partner. I don't think I'll ever get married again.

Married almost 15 years...and I feel very loved

married, almost 9 years. i've know him for more than half my life and i love him with all of it. we fit each other perfectly.

Divorced 3 times and single. And I truly doubt if I ever go there again.
That's what they make toys now for right? :D
