I finally got it up
 

How pretty, IWM! I particularly like the big red balls :D

Ours isn't 9ft, it's only 8 and it came pre-lit. It stands alone in the den, red and silver balls only.

LOL - the boxes are down from the attic and that is as far as it got! Will probably decorate next weekend.

Very nice..... job well done..... took you along time to finish though... must have been a union job! hehe

Beautiful IWM....and uh with the shine on that ball I also thought there was someting hiding in that tree. LOL

Won't have ours up for a bit yet, too much stuff in the way.

i bought our today drove near an hour to get there and an hour home !!!!!!!!!! that was horrible only doing 50 to get home when i norm can do 70 or 80 LMAO oh well its sittin undecorated in my living room its 8 foot tall and sooooo purdy now to get busy w decs!

I've never truly understood the idea of killing something in order to celebrate it. Yule trees should be fake, unless you want to plant one in your yard and have an outdoor (living) tree.

Whcih brings to mind another question...why put an angel or santa clause on top of the tree? I mean it really can't be comfortable for even an angel or santa claus to have a tree stuck up their ass!

Nope mine gets that award. Here it is mid- set up still....no tree skirt yet. Still trying to talk the kiddos out of the trainset around it :p She won't even stand up. Has an angel at the top. My brother had a star and I had an angel and we always argued about whose turn it was to have their ornament on top so now that it's my tree there will be an angel on the tree every damn year :p

I'd love to have a pretty matching themed type tree but I have glittered pines cones, and gold painted macaroni wreaths instead. And those ornaments are priceless.

You must have hinted to my husband today, didn't ya??? ;) He got the tree out and we got it up tonight...now I just have to decorate it.

Mine...this year. Same decorations, different home. :)

Next weekend for us...... and little girl will be home to help decorate!!

It's up with a few new additions to it this year. :)
