After much soul searching, not so great luck with getting a job for me, and finding out England's Fiance' visa processing times are approx ONE to TWO WEEKS (!!!), Mayhem and I have decided that we are tired of the torture of being apart and we just want to be with each other.

The idea is to live in Jolly Ol' for 2-5 years and save up moolah to come back to the States.

The missing each other is about driving us batty, and we are sappy romantic mushballs. Plus we are both really really horny!---but sex isn't the major deciding factor, but a nice fat cherry on top of the Mayhem sundae---mmmmm

I will hopefully be leaving for the UK shortly after the American holiday of Thanksgiving. I wanted to be there for Mayhem's 28th birthday on Nov 11, but it gives me time to get my lizards in a row.

I am supremely nervous about moving there, however there are also other reasons that calm my logical mind, and my sweet sweet Mayhem, who with just a few words, can make my heart flutter, or calm my nerves.

Like the song says "I finally found the love of a lifetime..." :loveshowe

Not sure if they quite grasp it yet, for that matter, I am still having a bit of a time wrapping my mind around it.

I like that they'll end up with an English accent....it sounds so sophistocated compared to my American twangy accent.

Also, my dreams of going into education may not be put on the back burner---Mayhem needs to do some more checking, but I may be able to be a classroom assistant, and get some classroom time---hopefully.

Lizzardbits, it looks like thing may be looking up for the two of you. Hope all goes smoothly and you have a happy time in jolly ol' England.

I'm not worried that it's "bad" where the time count starts. It may well be getting better than here overall. I'm just not looking to have Pixies get further apart, we need them closer together. I'd get us an island (little smaller than that one ;) ) and all Pixies could move together, but then we wouldn't need to be an online group then. :rofl:

Could I order a semi tropical island? one that stays around 72F/22.2C year round? I hate being cold. and i want virgin pina coladas and a huge fire pit for all of us to dance around and a big water tight hut/house to party in and so on and so forth LOL

Seriously, Thank you for being concerned and supportive. I don't have "cold feet" about marrying Mayhem, or moving to England, but I sure do have about 748,744,238,452,345 excited and nervous butterflies in my stomach all day, so the support and concern help to calm those butterflies.

First thing, first---first we must get the visa approved for me to go there. I need to make some phone calls today and I hope that they go well. *fingers crossed*

the calls went well and we should hear in about a week if I get the visa and go to my Mayhem on the 29th of Nov, landing the 30th in England.

I got the message tonight and the very nice lady said that I am approved for a fiance' visa for the UK and I will be receiving the paperwork back, via Fed Ex, within the next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so happy that I called Mayhem at 2am his time, and hollered down the phone at him that we did it, we are approved, I am free to fly over anytime now! Poor guy probably will think it a dream and read it here to confirm what I told him, LOL!

This is what we wanted in some form or another since Stonehenge, June 21st 2005. WE DID IT!!!! We can finally get married!!!! :loveshowe
