Anyone going?

The "free" TiVo is tempting.

My wife and 3 daughters have synchonised their alarm clocks ,and lined up their running shoes by the door for a 5:30a.m.start! I"ll be sleeping in!!

I'm working on convincing him that he needs to get up extra early and take me shopping. With his credit card of course. ;)

I have NEVER been shopping the day after THANKSGIVING and I NEVER will, unless it's something that will save someone's life! There is no toy, game system or other gift item that I would fight someone for.

You couldn't pay me to go out that day. I will be sitting at home far from the madding crowds.

We only open an hour early since we are not a store that has all the new and hot items. But that day also starts us staying open an hour later until Christmas.

I went shopping once on Black Friday and it was only to get one thing and I did'nt go early.

Count me in the NO CHANCE IN HELL!!! group.

It totally puts me in the spirit. I have witnessed ugly acts but no more so than I can see daily from grown people misbehaving.

A fond pastime is to go to the mall, get something to eat, and stroll around watching the people.

Finally...a reason to go shopping! :hot:

perhaps. we have a day without the kids (plus a night:brows: ) but hubby has to work half of it. and i must admit i like it, too but i do have a tipping point. when i get sick of the lines and the overheated stores, i just call it quits.

I used to stay home, but this year I will be going to work. I will be trying to help the hordes find that just right thingy. :hair: Retail :hair:

Did anyone go? Did you get any good deals?

I didn't go shopping - stopped briefly at one store late morning to get one item and then I went back home. Perfect

Anthrophobes like the wife & I have no desire to go out & live thru the experience of having our personal space violated all day long...thank God for internet shopping...

They say Cyber Monday will have plenty of online gifts for cheap.

I picked up some soup ... and some saltine crackers. Does that count? The soup was 2 for a dollar and the saltines were 85 cents for a box. :)

That's a steal. I was just bitching to myself that a can of Chunky soup is like $2.50.

I increased my erotica library a bit with some percentage off sales on some durty pitcher foto books...

Aren't the days after Xmas and New Year's supposed to be pseudo Black Fridays as well? All the used stuff people bring back get marked down, I think.
