Right now,I'm experimenting with electric settings.I had a wire,
implanted,in my spine,at the hospital,yesterday.It is connected to
an electric modulator,that is adjustable for intensity of impulses.
It supposedly,blocks pain impulses & sends electric impulses to
your brain,instead.It is a trial(experimental)temporary procedure,
to see if it blocks the pain.It is a Spinal Cord Stimulator & I am
supposed to keep an hourly Log on the pain severity until a followup visit to see if it works for me.I have had an intermittent
pain,since a "botched"back operation in Yale New Haven Hospital
in 1970.I used to just ignore the pain but as I have gotten older,
it has increased in frequency & intensity.The Pain Clinic,has tried
everything else.I hope that this works,the constant procedures
are getting annoying!I'll let you guys know the results,but it will
be awhile! Irish
