I was just wondering if there is anyone out there other than myself who is interested in the vampire mythos and think that legendary vamps such as lestat and jean claude from Anita Blake are SOOOOO sexy, anyone agree?

The only thing I love better than a Vampire (loved all of Rice's undead and Bram Stoker's) is a Lycanthrope......it must be the howling:D

i'd really appreciate it if somebody would fill me in as to the differences between a vampire and a vampyre.

Rev.: guess it depends on where you got your info. many of my frinends were avid V:TM players and they used the spelling to differentiate from others.... also... lessee in the "mythology" vampyres are those who have a resistance to light rather than becoming dust like Claudia did in that pit in interview w a vamp. I think... but you know me I could be wrong

There are some damn fine sexy vamps and lycanthropes in them books too, Ash for example.

I'd have to say my favorite vampires are the ones I play in V:TM, but if I have to do a literary one, Bram Stoker's Dracula.. just have to love the way evil is done, with that one.

And about Bama's hotspots.. hmm... I think I remember a few of those that were told to me once.

I think that a great part of what makes vampires sexy for me is their knowledge. Just think of what they could teach us! :) Lestat is definately the best, he's so graceful!
