one of our pixies member is in the hospital after a bad car wreck, she was somewhat new to posting so i know alot of people did not get to know her, but knowing all the caring pixie people around here i figured i would let everyone know so they could send her some healing vibes, she wanted to let everyone know that even tho she would/could not get here to let eveyone know she was thinking about them, and this site always brightened her day. Oh, she was "4youreyesonly"

it happened tuesday night, she hit some black ice and smacked a tree, she called me yesterday (friday 13th) and told me, she broke her leg in 2 places, shattered her ankle, they will do surgery monday 16th to rebuild her ankle, helluva christmas!

Wishing her a speedy recovery too!

Sad to hear it happened - glad to hear it was nothing worse than a broken leg , ok a badly broken leg ............ but I'm sure she'll be tap dancing again in no time . Get well soon FYEO.

Maybe someone can find her a Pixies sticker to put on her cast (assuming it's not one of those old plaster ones)

So sorry to hear such bad news.......I am sending all the positive vibes I can muster for 4youreyesonly!

Just a little light at the end of the tunnel........My baby sis shattered her right leg and ankle in a car accident and was in the trauma unit for a week just a few years ago. She had pins and a surgical "halo" on for a while when she came home. They used a piece of her hip to replace a crushed bone. She is no worse for the wear from that. She is doing great now......though they could not restore the motion of her ankle bend.......it is now fused immobile........but she can still walk and she still has beautiful legs! They inserted titanium rods in her for healing time, but they have been removed now and she walks to her job every single day! Just wanted to let you know.....they can do amazing things in these times!
