Question for 'puter literates
 

Recently while reading some posts I noticed that where there should be apostrophes there appears to be a square. Now I don't remember seeing this before. It was only on this site for a while, but now I have noticed it on other web pages I am viewing. Any ideas why this is happening? Is it just because I am on a dinosaur and it doesn't have the right technology to view certain things?

I was told that because I have cable and my puter is old, the cable is faster than my puter can process. Don't know if that is really the case but it was something I could deal with.

I think it's because you have been typing with one hand ;)

You probably have a font which can't display all characters properly. Go to IE/tools/internet options/fonts button and choose a different font for browsing, maybe just making it bigger or smaller may help.
