Just curious to see how many of you out there have an "old standby" to hook up with when your sex lives aren't as active and adventurous as you may like.

If you are currently in a solid relationship but had a fuck buddy in the past...why did things end??

I for one have been very tempted to call an "old friend" on numerous occasions, but getting together would truly be an out of the way adventure, since he's up in Lambeau Land for the summer. I'd have to wait until he came back to school in the fall to make it truly worth my while. ;)

Don't have a 'buddy' or any kind of steady partner. Any takers? :p

Don't REALLY want to talk about past breakups - there are a couple of ex's I still talk to, one's in Indiana one's in Texas (and moving back to Indiana). And we're just friends and that's cool.

I had one long ago. We were both just getting out of bad relationships at the time and agreed to keep things purely physical. T'was the best sex of my life ... thus far. :lust:

I had one once......he started off as a 'cyber fuck buddy' (online fun, although we were both keen on other, unattainable people) then for a short while he became a real life fuck buddy, and that was great........now I'm in love with him and it's even better. :p

I had a fuck buddy a couple of years ago we had a great time went out had a few drinks and a good laugh then we'd pop back to her place for naughties....we're still friends although we've not seen each other for a long time we still text and she got a computer recently so we might chat on there some time. She's actually got herself attached to a guy and is getting married and of course I'm well and truly attached to the yummy loulabelle....

It's a very...odd...feeling, isn't it, BCG, to know you have someone to call if you need to?

In my case, it was simply a matter of timing between us--who wanted what, when. For some reason, even when we agreed we were *not* going to see each other, any time we were alone together ended up with us sans clothes. :D I can't explain it, but I think it's a combo of the memories of the most incredible, passionate sex I'd ever had, plus the friendship we have shared for many, many years, plus other underlying feelings--or maybe it was simply that this person always made me feel good about myself: wanted, desired, appreciated. Everyone needs to feel that way now and then. ;)

I had one long ago, she would even come over mornings after she knew someone else had been there and come jump in my bed and we would talk about it and then sleep the day away...damn i miss her...

I had a very good friend who had lots of extra benefits. That ended when he started dating a good friend of mine but there were no bad feelings.

Now my SO and I have another couple with benefits....just starting out and working through the little bumps but it's going well :D

Yes, I have made it a point to have a part-timer. Someone always there to work out with. At this point that is all I have. But yes this is a must.
