Have you ever carried around a load of anger til something really stupid made you blow your top? Then you feel stupid for getting angry over something so moronic! But the truth is you are mad over the 4895479875 things that led up to it?

It takes a lot to make me angry, but, when it happens, I explode right then and there. I have never been able to let myself stew about something or keep things in check. Unfortunately, most of the time that means my adrenaline is so out of control that I cry, dammit. :D

It's when I am calm and composed that people should be worried. It means I've disengaged emotions and have moved to logic. Scary thought.

When I explode in a torrent of tears and fist shaking I'm just like a tea kettle. It's the crock pot that's dangerous. :p

Lilith you just described the last 11 years of my marriage. But I don't feel stupid. I got angrier. you know why? cuz I got called Jekyll and Hyde. but do you think he'd own up to any of those bazillion things leading up to it? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! not a one! It was usually something trivial that fueled the fire that caused the explosion. That's all it took.

P.s. I feel the storm brewing too. I pity the poor soul who gets caught in the tornado.
