When the ex comes aknocking at the door
 

So something interesting happened to me when I was in class today. My ex sent me a text message. "Hi Richard. I bet you're surprised to hear from me. I just wanted to tell you something. I was reading some of our old chats I saved on my compter and just wanted to appologize for how I acted. You dont have to text back or even accept this, but I just wanted you to know that i'm sorry."

I mean i dont want to be a real prick with this so I said i accepted her appology but now she wants to be friends. What do I do?

There's a reason you guys split up and if you start talking again, you may (or may not) get hurt. Just my experience.

If you think you want to be friends with her, accept. In my experience, many people who used to date drift away because of dissimilar interests or goals, even if it ends in a friendly manner.

She may not want to be active friends...but rather just to know that you don't dislike her. It's up to you whether you want to accept her invitation or not

Why is it a problem and wierd? Easy i tried to be friends after that with her and she refused. Now all of a sudden she does? It is just wierd. I kinda wonder what she has planned.

Oh and of course now she is saying things that are just cruel to know. Things she did and i didnt know such as masturbating etc. LOL it is just cruel.

she is probably feeling lonely and just wants someone to talk to. I don't know, but i had a ex who wanted me to burn in hell pretty much, a few months later we started talking again and we are the best of friends now. Go figure

As time goes by it's all water under the bridge....you'd be amazed the things you can forget and move on from.

Just one question, though: why on earth is it cruel to find out that she masturbated? Most people do it, you know, and for a lot of people it's something deeply personal and private that they don't wish others to know about.

Well when we were going out she said she didnt. It is simply that she lied to me all that time. That is what annoys me. Of course she told me a couple other fun things like oh yea i never really enjoyed being with you doing....well you know but she enjoyed it because it was me. It is like all things like that.

UPDATE: She wants to hook up now LOL.

Nevermind. She just changed her mind again.
