What is it that you used to have, that you don't now, and miss?????

Maybe someone knows how to help you find it......


Mine is space bars or space food...back in the early 70's you could buy them in boxes at the grocery. They were cylindrical and individually packaged ...

I think you might find it at a really well stocked sporing goods store...especially one that specilises in hiking and camping. I know that Bass Pro Shops carries it, and Maybe Gander Mountain.

Try the National Air and Space museum in Washington, D.C.!!!
Last time I was there (1982) they had all that stuff and astronaut ice cream too...it's been a long time but still worth a call to see if they still have it.

This marks the first time I have ever been able to personally respond to a request by the Great Goddess Lilith, and I am humbled by the experience. I have commented previously on her wit and wisdom but never have been able to offer her anything. I hope my 2 cents worth is worth something!!!

Im missing the kind of fun we used to be able to have with out our parents worrying too much about something bad happening to us. You know like during the summer when you could leave in the morning come home for lunch then leave again and come home right before the street lights came on. What happened to those days?

I didn't think I'd have anything to be nostalgic about but nikanik made a great point. We didn't have to wear 10 pieces of safety equipment to get on our banana seat bikes back then.

I'm also nostalgic for the days before we because so litigious. Once that woman sued McDonalds for spilling hot coffee on herself (!), I knew there was no turning back.
