The new guy I'm dating was a hockey goalie for years (was even drafted by the Blackhawks but decided he'd had enough of hockey and felt he wasn't good enough for the NHL). We talked about the new rules today & he thinks they should be good for the game. It'll make it quicker but it's going to take a while to get used to the shootouts after five minutes of OT.
