I want my kids to pursue their own destinies and so I would not object if the military was their choice. I doubt any of the kids will make that choice, but I would not object. But, I grew up as an "Army Brat." My dad was a career soldier and retired an officer. His career let our family see a lot of the world and a lot of this country. He had excellent benefits and now rests in an absolutely beautiful National Cemetary with together with my mom. I have a lot of respect for the men and women of each country that choice to devote themselves to it's defense and security ... whether in the military or as a member of civilian agencies like the police and fire departments. Sorry, got carried away ...
