You may not get as many responses posted as you will have spurred thoughts within most of us, WanderingSoul. And with understand and good cause, as politics is the one thing that has truly hurt our village. I guess the nature of politics is the one place that we have a hard time accepting the differences of each other because it touches, in some way, ALL our basic personal philosophies. No two of us are exactly in complete tune with any other person and NOTHING is used so much to manipulate and control us. That is the nature and necessity of politics. And that is the yang of civilization.

So! ………………. I accept all your views as being the facts as you see them ……… except for one.

Other than that one crock of shit, (you DO state a lot of political opinions!) I agree with quit a few of your points. Trying to keep it to ONE topic, the energy issue, I’ll share an email I just sent into a radio interview panel a couple days ago. The guest speaker of ‘experts’ from the industry and government were sighting MANY complex facts (as they see them ). There are a kigilian facts that are involved in this alone, but this is my personal summery of what information I’ve garnered.

My seemingly cynical prospective has come from my personal observation, from my knowledge of history, my personal experiences in life and time. I view ‘greed’ as the human quality at the top of the pyramid motivating everything from basic survival, to religion, to knowledge, to the evolution of the specie, to the organization enabling the development (politics) and employed by those able to do so.

From a less ideological prospective of philosophy, to the personal immediate, I agree that we have to respect and support the individuals stepping forward to give something positive to the greater mass by doing the bidding of the manipulators.
