Thanks, one & all...just got home from work to find these lovely birthday wishes...really, today, I was ready to chuck some boxes off the tailgate & say screwitalltohell, until I remembered how nice it was to actually deposit $$$ in the bank for the first time in years (how we are all slaves to the filthy lucre)...

Since everyone was too polite to point it out, today marks my 50th trip around Ol' Sol, & in the last couple of days I've realized that the worst thing about the Big 5-0 is NOT the added aches & pains, the loss of follicles & the ability to do things that were once easier...no, dear friends, the WORST part of turning 50 is the signs in the yard that DW put out to advertise to the whole neighborhood, & the black balloons & other crap that my bandmates put out Sunday before practice...
