How many guys have personally told you that having a virgin is a big thing for them? I've known a couple that have mentioned they like the idea of being with a virgin, but most guys I have known don't have a preference. If anything their preference is for a woman that isn't a virgin.

You mentioned teasing in hallways and that sounds to me like you're in high school. The biggest thing you're up against is immaturity. I know it's easier said then done, but ignore them.

No one should have sex for the sake of 'giving in'... that leads to problems. Not only immediate problems, but relationship problems down the road, so to speak.

To bring this back to your original question, a lot of theories have been presented here and I think they all have some validity as to why some guys might prefer virgins. But there is not a single answer that explains it all.
