I am pretty confident about my picks for the final six.

Girls: Paris Bennet, Katharine McPhee, and Mandisa

I would say Paris is there definitely, but Kellie Pickler might sneak in just because she has that giggly southern blonde thing going and some guys might fall for her Jessica Simpson impersonation even though her voice is no where near the best. If Kellie sneaks in, I think Mandisa is out because she seems too professional to me....I think she has the best voice, but it is too practiced (she is 29, the oldest, and always reminds me of a professional back up singer for Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston). I don't think the audience will connect with her enough for that reason.

Guys: Taylor Hicks, Elliot Yamin, and Chris Daughtry

These guys are locks. Bucky has no range and is limited in song choice. Kevin's voice isn't special and the innocent look can only get him so far. Ace is all show, no go.

Top Two: Chris Daughtry and Paris Bennet.

Elliot doesn't have the right personality and Taylor sometimes won't be taken seriously. I have already said my piece about Mandesa and Kellie, but I don't think Katharine will make it because she lacks personality sometimes and can come off as fake a bit. Paris seems to becoming more and more confident in interviews to match how she is when she is singing (which is better than Fantasia in my opinion). Chris is just great.

Winner: Chris Daughtry
All along it seems Chris has set the bar. Although he only sings a rock style, it just seems right because he is original and makes you feel like you are watching the next rock star.

Now if only I was psychic and these predictions would turn out right...I'd be in Vegas right now.
