I was just looking at this thread again, too, soda. I WANNA GET BACK TOGETHER!

I do hope we can do this again. Probably will hold off for a time when OF & his bride can make it back to the states, but it's not too early to start thinking about someplace we could hold another "PAGAN event." Sharni, start filling your piggy bank ... just in case. Ideally it'd be a place that might have some appeal (even without PAGAN). Some talk had been made about Nashville (to keep the "N" in pagaN), but other choices could be good. Houston with the Space Center; Atlanta with the Underground and Stone Mountain; New Orleans; Orlando; northern Florida where we could all stay at Lilith's house ( ... although we'd no doubt have to ask her before we all showed up. ); Yorktown or Gettysburg for the history buffs; San Antonio (Riverwalk; the Lone Star Brewery; & Circus Museum); Peoria (okay, that's a stretch ... but there is a lot going on around here with the Wildlife Prarie Park (bison, deer, wolves, etc. in a natural setting); a planetarium; great museum; zoo; botanical gardens; gambling boat; stern wheeler river boat rides ... you could do worse); etc. Of course, we had talked going south ... so input from our southern friends would be especially welcome.

A plus would be if there's one or more Pixies in the general neighborhood who could help spot lodging (economical but nice); restaurants; sights to see; places to gather as a group; ... stuff like that. Might also think about transportation ... good Interstate Highways; rail or air links; things like that.

Any suggestions??
