Dunno...but I do know that the post office asked Washington, OH to change its name to avoid confusion with another Ohio town called, “Washington Court House.” The populace obliged, and from then until the present, this town has been known as Old Washington.
Doesn't help much, but it shows that Washington Court House has some clout! lmao
