Just got an email from Dad letting me know that the dates I asked about for my visit will work but he went on to add that it seems like what I asked about is a pretty short stay and wonders if maybe I could stay a bit longer.

Of course then he went on to let me know that there is construction on I-15 between Vegas and LA and came up with a list of possible alternative routes. Gotta love Dad.
