Hello and thanks.
Everyone's been so helpful offering advice and suggestions I thought it was time for a "follow-up".
First I've been limiting my pop intake at the restaurant, to 1 glass per shift, and if I am thirsty I have been drinking water with lemon (the lemon is "allowed" right?) But I've been trying NOT to drink the pop.
I've been drinking the water as I said, but also limiting myself to one serving of red meat a week, grilled chicken is the meat of choice when eating meat. I'm eating fruit, cottage cheese and salad when I DO eat at work.
Of course I've gotten in the habit of only eating once per day, usually at night(around 8 or 9pm) when I work.
I'm also working on stopping my "bedtime snack"-ing habit. Not 100% successful at that yet either, but its not a nightly activity.
As far as exercise, I'm still not doing enough, and I know that but.........I'm trying.
I have no idea if it is working, or not..........to be honest, I don't feel like I'm losing weight, and I don't have a set of scales at the house. I'm trying to tell myself that I am doing "better things for myself, so it HAS to be working", but nothing tangable at this point.
