Love both, but cats are easier to take care of ... actually, they take care of themselves most of the time as long as they have a clean litter box and food and water handy. On the other hand, dogs are usually more playful and can make good watchdogs around the house. I guess I'll pick cats only because we have two and don't have a dog.
