I do agree with what Osuche and Teddy Bear said in their post. However, there's that other side of being a "slut" that is not about a lack of respect or being ashamed of ones actions. Lilith and the manwhore come to mind.

My Joe calls me a slut. It fits into our D/s lifestyle and is really a term of endearment. It means that I totally and completely embrace my sexuality, and am unashamed to let my enthusiasm show forth. With him I'm joyfully wanton.

Which is what I think WI was talking about with his post on what married couples do with each other. I don't know if I can really be a slut within the confines of my relationship. But, it sure turns me on when he calls me one!
