Well it's that time of the year and we are going to the big hunting/fishing banquet again.  Last year we did not attend for the first time, but it wasn't because we came up dry the year before. It was because BOTH of my boys were unable to finagle their schedules and not be working, a firefighter and the other a cop.
Last year we told the brother we would stay home just so he could have a chance. (It didn't change his luck.  )
