Thanx guys!
Oh, i wasn't actually driving when i snapped the pics *LOL* I was the passenger then. Cruise control is good, but not THAT good

The beach has very little sand area now days, used to walk for a bit to get to the water, it only really came in that far with a king tide. That is why they terraced and lawned the dunes, so tourists had an area to sunbathe on.
That would not have been a high tide, high tide would cover the whole sand area and the rocks along the edge.
The beach gets man-o-war jellies on occassion, but generally it is fairly safe. Rips and sharkie poos would be the biggest danger, but well its a big pond and the sharks tend to stay out deeper, mostly
Its is flat eh, flat for miles and miles *LOL* We were cruising along, and i spotted a roo and joey on the side of the road (it was in a ways not right along side), so i was pointing it out to the kids, then Bilbo points out there was more. A HUGE mob of roos was grazing along the side, thankfully they stayed there and didnt jump in front of us (110km + roo/s = much carnage). We went a bit further and there were wild emus. Twas exciting to see, even for us *LOL*.
Lizards love to sun themselves on the road, we did indeed see a large lizzie doing just that!
We are gonna go back home for Xmas, but for longer (prolly 3-4 weeks). So will snap some pics of the other beach and wharf area (with working cray/crab/fishing boats) then.
We will also be looking for work in Victoria, so we can move closer to our parents. As to how long that will take, well one never knows eh!
