So, yes, the flooding in my basement. As I posted in another thread, I had to rip out part of an interior wall in order to get at the cracks in the concrete floor where the water was coming in.
Then I got to put holes in the floor. After all, you can't fill in holes in the floor if there are no holes in the floor to fill.
Then in order to prevent water from coming in through the holes in the floor, I had to put water in the holes in the floor.
Now I get to see if this concrete patch stuff actually worked, and if it did, then replace the framework & drywall I ripped out.
This sucks, but fortunately, not as much as our shop-vacs sucked during the flood itself. But that's why we bought the shop-vacs in the first place.
