Getting ready to go back down to the vet's office. Kira, my wolf/shepherd/husky mix had odd covulsions and tried to throw up this morning after I brought her back from groomers. Vet told me to get her there ASAP. Turns out she had a "torqued stomach"? That is where the stomach is physically twisted inside the dog. She is out of surgery and on a morphine drip, probably until tomorrow and was cut open and now stitched shut, from stem to stern. It's been a heckuva day. Bill so far...$2500.
